This is an idea I had a couple of years ago, I even located the die in the US, but when it arrived it was put in a drawer to gather dust.
Well today I finally got it out and I am so pleased with how it’s turned out and now wish I had used it sooner!
The die is Sizzix – Shadow Box Upper Case J No. 38-0457 I am sorry there is no name on the paper I have used. The bells are taken off a fancy bit of trimming I’ve also had for ages and the writing is my own. Simple and cute.
lovely cards..simple but classy..!yet again something good!!!

I love these cards, my kind of card!!! They are striking and fun x
ReplyDeleteWhat simple but stunning cards - will have to get my Craft Robo out. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLove these cards. I want a sissix thing! Can you recommend yours? I don't know what to get.
ReplyDeleteI love the hand writing. I was watching a program on QVC probably and the lady did some amazing things just by writing.
LOVE these 'J' cards and your writing ...may have to use the idea and have a go at the writing too. I tried it once but it looked like a drunk spider had put her leg in an ink pot lol
ReplyDeleteHi Sam
ReplyDeleteI had a cuttlebug for a couple of years and loved it, but I sold it on ebay to fund a Bigshot because I saw the fantastic XL Boxes Sizzix were bringing out and needed a bigger machine. The bigshot is great and takes all my dies (not that I have a lot)
Having said that I have asked santa for a Sizzix sidekick for my small dies just as it would be more convienent when working at my desk.
My big regret - selling my cuttlebug alphabets!!!
How nice !! they are simple but lovely cards.. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHi I popped over to your blog as I noticed someone had visited my blog via your blog.
ReplyDeleteNext time I update my blog list I will add your one to it.
I love the Jingle Bells cards you have made. Also like the triangle tree ones.

Love it and I have some of these little bells. Never thought to use them like that.
ReplyDeleteThanks Helen, I think the Big Shot it is for my first machine. Seems to be more versatile and robust from reading lots of comments online.
