When I mess about trying to decide where to put the tiniest and most insignificant of flat back gem I call it Fiddle Farting, hence the name of the blog!!!

What’s On My Desk Wednesday
Treasure ……… rescued from the bin …… lots and lots of old, worn tape measures …… aint got a clue to do with them ….. but sewing them together springs to mind …. all suggestions welcome!
A shop in my town called paperweight used to sell belts and wallets made out of these tape measures sewn together, so when my work got some coloured ones in, I immediately wanted to make some!
Thank you for wanting to leave a comment. I HATE verification and apologise for the extra bother it causes, however, if I don't have it I get all sorts of dubious spam added and the comments would be bogged down utter ***p!
Occasionally I get comments on posts from several years ago, again, I have to apologise, copies of TEMPLATES etc. that I once offered are now NO LONGER AVAILABLE, when my last computer died, I lost everything and decided not to replace any them.
You could make distressed or shabby chic toddler keepsake height charts with tiny spaces for photos and journalling.
ReplyDeletePut them end to end and they might just fit around my hips after my Christmas binge! lol!
ReplyDeleteuse dem as ribbons !!
ReplyDeleteDo you have enough to weave together to make a bag? (for knitting or sewing).
ReplyDeleteToni :o)
Hiding this pic from my 4 year old. He has an obsession, lol. Have a good christmas Helen x
ReplyDeleteI can see why you rescued them, although I wouldn't know what to do with them either!
ReplyDeleteI wonder whether they would sew together to make a bag or case for knitting/crochet needles?
ReplyDeleteSometimes rescued lovelies need to sit for a while before you know what you really want to do. Have fun deciding!
