New Baby Card With Knitting

This card measures 5ins x 5ins and is made with a hand cut blank using white linen effect card.
Baby Boy knitting Card
For me there is possibly too much going on here, but I think it will pass muster.
Knitting baby Card
It’s just that I have had these knitted embellishments forever and it was about time that I tried to use just one of them, but alone, on a card, it looked a little too empty and so I started to pile on the bits of fiddle fart!!

  1. That's a great card. When I was younger ( much much younger), we used to knit on cocktail sticks and turn it into little brooches! The 80s was a strange time! Jenx

  3. Lovely card Helen. I didn't know you could get already knitted embellies! I made a retirement card for a knitter and got someone to knit me small square on kebab sticks. I then cut the sticks down to the right size for the card but didn't put a 'knob' on the end. These embellies would have been easier!

  8. Oh Helen, I came across a few of these here the other day - ones I'd made myself on very thin knitting needles then transferred to cocktail sticks and shoved beads on one end. Drat, I think I threw them out in the mad frenzy of tidying :(

  10. Really clever, Helen and not OTT for a baby card, not at all - well-coordinated and very sweet. Thinking about you every time your posts pop up, and in between too.

Thank you for wanting to leave a comment. I HATE verification and apologise for the extra bother it causes, however, if I don't have it I get all sorts of dubious spam added and the comments would be bogged down utter ***p!

Occasionally I get comments on posts from several years ago, again, I have to apologise, copies of TEMPLATES etc. that I once offered are now NO LONGER AVAILABLE, when my last computer died, I lost everything and decided not to replace any them.
