Paint Colour Chart Tags/Labels

The students at work have been making “Designer” t-shirts and instead of just pinning their names on their work I thought it would be nice to make them some “Designer” tags after spotting a pile of unused paint colour charts on a table.
Paint chart tags
I did originally cut the charts in half and then into a conventional tag shape, but somehow they didn’t look right, so I just punched a hole in the corner for the thread and left it at that. The names were printed on self adhesive labels, cut to size and then stuck on ….

I am now thinking of Christmas ……. and wonder if I can acquire a small pile charts in  seasonal shades of red and green for gift tags …… hmmmmm!

I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your blog....and the decoupaged table. :) Today at a garage sale I saw a cute little suitcase for like 50 cents but not a color or design I liked...so I thought of you and I was like hmmmm.....maybe I can decoupage it! So it's now here, waiting on me to gather some more supplies!

  2. Love them - they look like they should be attached to clothes in a posh boutique!

    Great idea for Xmas too......

  4. PS - I bet you know already, but you can rub out the paint names on the coloured part with an eraser - def looks great with them on here though!

  5. Brilliant idea Helen - of course you can 'acquire' some red and green paint charts - as a founder of the Ways and Means committee I don't think that would be beyond your powers in the least :) I'll have a snoop as well when I'm trooping round DIY places for you. Ever nicked, err acquired, lengths of wallpaper border from the samples for crafting? Bet you have!

You got a little flurry of my followers yesterday over at Monkey's blog - I almost wet myself laughing at the Opening Ceremony post and just had to share it with them :

Thank you for wanting to leave a comment. I HATE verification and apologise for the extra bother it causes, however, if I don't have it I get all sorts of dubious spam added and the comments would be bogged down utter ***p!

Occasionally I get comments on posts from several years ago, again, I have to apologise, copies of TEMPLATES etc. that I once offered are now NO LONGER AVAILABLE, when my last computer died, I lost everything and decided not to replace any them.
