I expect, like me you’ve all been waiting with baited breath to see what my brother Stephen came back with from his Day Centre on Friday for my mum for Mother’s Day ……. well, here it is …….. mahooosive fanfare and drum roll maestro please …………………
Not a card this year …. but a beautiful package containing handmade sweets….. two peppermint creams and two truffles, all tied up with ribbons and bows and flowers, as well as a tag.
As I always say with these posts …. we are in no doubt my brother actually did very much in the putting together of this wonderful gift, more as like he just sat at the table, watched, hummed and twiddled with his sleeve ….. but we cannot thank his staff enough for doing it on his behalf ….. THANK YOU xx YOU’LL NEVER KNOW WHAT GETTING A PRESENT LIKE THIS MEANS TO US EVERY YEAR xxx
thats the best what more can be said big love marc
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely gift.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely.I am so glad that your mum gets a present from Stephen each year. I would be very loath to eat the sweets. Not totally the same but i had handmade gifts from both of my girls this year and it means so much that they took the time and effort. Louise xx
ReplyDeleteanother wonderful present with the help of Stephens angels
ReplyDeleteTilly
The people who care for Stephen come up with some amazing things for relatives. I just wish the activities co-ordinator at the care home I work for had 1 ounce of their talent and caring.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely. It's the little things that mean a lot. Xx
ReplyDeleteJust knowing that he joined in, in his way ...by being there and watching the creation of the gift, must mean so much.xx
