The trees are from Papermania, a gift from a friend last Christmas.

I love the way they have little notches on the sides, brilliant for winding a gold thread round. I have also added a few clear flat backed gems for extra bling and dimension.

I have made a cream card blank, because I think it looks better with gold and have also used it to make the snowdrifts right across the card to form a very simple winter scene.

Those notches on the Christmas tree are brilliant. I'm thinking I could do the exact same thing with a paper tree. I would just need to figure out where I want my notches and make a template. Thanks for the idea!
Great Helen! The little notches are OK if you make them with a hole punch halfway into the card like a half moon if you get my drift - being 'cack-handed' I do rely on them :)) Hank and Marvin are watching here with great interest :)) Di xxx
