Doodled New Home Card

This card measures 12.5 cm x 12.5cm.
New Home Card
I’m not a very good drawer, but I needed a “New Home” card in a hurry and this is what I came up with!

At least you can say it’s an absolute original!

Doodled New Home Card

This card measures 12.5cm x 12.5 cm.
New Home Card with brass key
Drawing isn’t really my thing, I’m too critical, but now and again I like to doodle.  I’ve doodled the house and roof separately and then stuck them onto the card  with foam pads to add a bit of dimension.  There is a double thickness pad on the roof so that it stands slightly proud from the house.

I’ve added a small brass key charm to add a finishing touch.

Home Sweet Home Card

This card measures s12.5cm x 12.5cm and is made using linen effect card.

I went a bit mad with the doodling on this card!  I wanted a homely patchwork feel, but I am not too sure about the choice of colours, the Stampin’ Up pens I used were a bit darker than I first thought they were when I started colouring.  You’ll also notice that the colouring is not of Promarker standard, but perhaps it adds to the not too perfect rustic/shabby charm.

The Art of Fiddle Fart At It’s Finest – New House Card!

Picture 025
I surpassed myself today fiddle farting!
The houses are made using a small house punch (I think it came from Hobbycrafts) – but it wasn’t enough for me to just stick them onto a blank card, no, I had to doodle the details on each one using a very fine liner pen  and then colour them in very roughly with pale colours from my Whispers pen set!

….. this was after I stuck a small panel of card behind each house so I could have a door to colour in as well!

I also made the back panel using two strips of textured  paper.

To finish the card I added a few clouds in the sky using a white gel pen and a fence, using a black fine liner pen.
