How Old? 60th Birthday Card

This card measures 6 ins x 6ins and is made using a white, pre-scored card blank from a bulk pack from Hobbycraft.

How Old Birthday Card

Yet another quick and simple card, this time made for my brother-in-laws 60th birthday, again  using one of the designs from the  limited edition docrafts Capsule Collection Metallics pack of 36 x 6ins x 6ins  papers that I found in Home Bargains for just £1. It’s my current go to paper pack for most of my cards at the moment

How Old Card.

Once the card was covered, I added a random collection of gold and silver letters from some of the various alphabet packs I have, followed by an assortment of different sized gold and silver stars plus a few clusters of three dots here and there made using a black fine liner pen.  Simples!  I have become such a lazy crafter!

Fishing Card For A 21st Birthday

This card is a A5 in size and is made using white linen effect card.Fishing card
A newspaper card today, nothing too fancy.  Sometimes, if I need to put quite a lot of text into the “headline” I mix and match the size of the font slightly to get it all to fit in and to add a bit of extra interest.

The fisherman came off a bought card, it was too good to waste and I knew one day it would come in useful, and for this card it was perfect. I love the clipart worms …. it’s amazing how just a pair of wibbly wobbly eyes can create such a cute little character!

Birthday Card for a Walker

This card is A5 in size.
Walking Birthday Card
As I have said before, my Birthday Times template is brilliant for making a one off, totally personal card.
Birthday Card for a Walker
A card like this can take a couple of hours to make because of the research, as my sister would say, “It’s all in the detail!”.  The brief was 60th birthday, walking, red wine, and the Laf Apujarraf mountains, I think I have pulled it off!.

The boots are Quickutz die cuts I got from e-bay, the boot print stickers are from Stickopotamus and I am desperate to get some more, as I have almost run out of them and the bottle and glasses are a clip art image that I have covered with Anita’s 3D clear gloss to give a glass like effect.

The map, boots, bottle and glasses are all stuck on with foam pads for extra dimension.
