Accessorize Sweet Shop Stickers

These cards each measure 5ins x 5ins and are made using a hand cut white linen effect card blank.
Accessorize Tasty Treets Sweet Shop Stickers
How cute are these stickers from Accessorize (£2.00)?  I just could not resist them, but as I am still on my economy run I only bought two packs (instead of my usual six or seven),  from which I made seven cards with no stickers remaining.

The first card I made with them was pretty prim and proper …… so I had another go, this time using one of my Nestabliities dies.
Sweet Shop card I have to admit I prefer the plainer card, but that’s just me….. less is more!

Accessorize Heart Sticker Card

 Accessorize heart Stickers 1
The thing I like best about these Accessorize heart stickers is that several look like a Kath Kidston print.  I wish they would do a whole packet of just that design.
Accessorize Heart Stickers Accessorize Heart Stickers 2
I’ve used my 9 square card template to make the card as it is ideal for using such small stickers.

From one packet of stickers costing £1.75, I managed to get 7 cards (though there are only 5 in the photo), which isn’t bad going.

Penguin Christmas Card

I still have some of  last years Accessorize Christmas stickers left so I am still thinking of ideas on how to use them up – I don’t like to waste anything and this year I am trying to have a bit of an economy drive.
Penguin Card
There is not a lot to this card – so I will let the picture tell the story.  I have used a brilliant white glitter card for the icebergs.
My friend Lisa laughs at me when I go to buy white glitter card as I am VERY particular – I have been caught out too many times by what I have thought was brilliant white, only to find, when I get home, that it has a hint of another colour in it – now I always have a piece of the card I want to use it on to make sure it really is white!

2010 Christmas Stickers from Accessorize

Accessorize Stickers Christmas Card
Everyone knows how much I love Accessorize stickers, but after the wonderful Halloween stickers this year their Christmas range is sadly lack lustre,  so I’ve only bought a couple of packets to play with.
Accessorize Sticker Christmas Card
This is what I have come up with so far. There were not enough designs in the larger Christmas shapes to make a 9 square template card without repeating a shape and the smaller shapes were just too little to use effectively on the punched scalloped squares.
Accessorize Stickers 1
I’ve also had a go at covering some Cadbury Dairy Milk miniatures
Accessorize Stickers
Again, I’m a bit disappointed, with the colours, variety of designs and size, they just do not hit my “cute-ability” button …… hmmmmmmm. I think I’ll package them up nicely and use them on Christmas Eve as little a “pillow” present/favors for when my family come home..
Accessorize Christmas Stickers 1
At last, a sort of success, something I like …. I have put the little penguin from the sticker pack in a snow dome!  Its a very small card, about 3.5 x 3.5 ins.

Little Robin Branch Christmas Card

 Robin Card
This card is made using a robin and heart stickers from a packet of last years Christmas Accessorize stickers.  I have lots of  unused bits and pieces, left over from several Christmas’s, just waiting for an Ulrika moment, when I finally work out how I can use them.
eee
The branch is make from three punchies stuck together to form a line, with a dusting of Hero Arts hologram micro glitter for a bit of sparkle.  I have also added tiny weeny translucent stars which are nail art decorations from Poundland.

Decorated Cadbury Miniatures using Accessorize Christmas Stickers

Accessorize Stickers Snowmen
I made these quickly last night (before The Apprentice!!!!) just to see how the snowmen stickers would look on Cadbury Dairy Milk Miniatures.
Accessorize Christmas Stickers Accessorize Snowman Stickers
Everyone knows how much I love Accessorize stickers ….. and after their brilliant Halloween range I was anticipating very great things ……. Well, yesterday I heard that the Christmas ones had hit the shops, so my lovely sister was hastily sent on “a mission” ………….. but I am so disappointed ………… and hoping that there has been a huge mix up at the distribution centre and that the “real” stickers will soon appear in the shops!
The snowmen are the same as last year! And, I wasn’t that keen on them then.  As for the laser effect stickers – I’m not impressed, the gingerbread man is especially awful as is the snowman. My heart sank when I saw them ….. my sister got me two packs of each, and I will use them all, but I don’t think I will buying anymore. (£1.75 per pack)
Next port of call for my sister was Paperchase, where she got me one pack each of their two Christmas designs ….. (£1)
Paperchase Christmas StickersPaperchase Puffy Christmas stickers
Hmmmmm, quite cute, but every single sticker has a face on it, now that’s ok for the Santa and penguins, etc. but I don’t really like my holly or Yule log to have one too, a bit odd.

I must sound really grouchy, I’m sorry …..  The other set of stickers from Paperchase are “OK”…. quite cartoony, with a modern feel and I think I will be able to make some quite quirky cards with them

Halloween Test Tube Favours

I love test tubes!
Trick or Treat Test Tube Favors
I got the taller plastic test tube from a site in the US ages ago, http://www.silvercrowcreations.com/ and must see if I can get some more. The smaller tube was from a crafty resource centre I visit now and again, but they are both perfect for Halloween trick or treat favours.
Trick or Treat Test Tube Favor Tag 3 Trick or Treat Test Tube Favor Tag 4
The tags are made using my Stampin Up scalloped and plain circle punches which I have decorated on both sides with Accessorize stickers and handwritten messages using  black and white gel pens.

The tags are on a thread, kept in place by a piece of black and white gingham ribbon (now deleted from Stampin Up range) at the top of the test tube.

The tube is finished off with a large purple flat backed gem stuck on the cap.
The jelly beans are from the Original Jelly Bean Factory, they cost a bit more than ordinary jelly beans, but they are smaller and I can buy just the colours I need in their pick and mix section which gives this idea a lot of its charm.

Halloween Card Using Accessorize Stickers

Can you send cards for Halloween?
Halloween Card using Accessorize stickers
Yesterday I showed you my Halloween sweetie bags using the new  Accessorize Trick or Treat stickers  and as I was making them I thought how brilliant they would look on my nine square card.
Halloween Card using Accessorize Stickers 1
I just love the combination of black, purple, orange and lime green together.
Though there is quite a lot of “stick” on these stickers I tend to add a dab of glue on them, in the past a couple of stickers have come off, and that doesn’t look very “professional”!

Halloween Trick or Treat Sweetie Bags

Halloween Sweetie Bags using Accessorize Stickers
I LOVE Accessorize for their stickers and I LOVE my sister Jan for going looking for them for me.  Look what they’ve done for Halloween, how cute are they?
Accessorize Halloween Stickers Trick or Treat stickers from Accessorize
I know I’ve shown these sweetie bags before, but I just love making them using different stickers etc. to go with various celebrations in year and to see how different they can look.

I’ve used Elizabeth Shaw mint crisps and my Stampin Up punches to make them. On one side I have used the stickers and on the other handwritten “Trick or Treat”

Sometimes it is very hard to use Accessorize stickers and then give what you have made with them away, but what’s the use of having drawers full of lovely things you’ve only looked at but done nothing with.

I have put the sweets in pretzel bags/lollipop bags which can be found on e-bay:-

Little Birds In A Tree Birthday Card

Birds in Tree Card
Birds are so in at the moment – these puffy stickers are from Paperchase (£1 a pack). At first I wasn’t too keen on them, but, then I thought of marrying them up with this beautiful tree download from Quickutz Silhouette.
Birds in tree Card 1 Birds in tree Card 3
Lifting them from the carrier sheet was a nightmare, very fiddle farty!
Birds in Tree Card 4 Birds in Tree Card 5
But I am really pleased with the end result and have already got other ideas for things to hang on or put in the tree.

Bargains of the Week ….. from Accessorize

I am not sure that these are really bargains at £1.75 per pack but they are lovely, and any cards I make using Accessorize stickers just fly out of the box, these are three new designs I haven’t seen before …..
