What’s On My Desk Wednesday

Lots and Lots of Tape measures
Treasure ……… rescued from the bin …… lots and lots of old, worn tape measures …… aint got a clue to do with them ….. but sewing them together springs to mind …. all suggestions welcome!

You could make distressed or shabby chic toddler keepsake height charts with tiny spaces for photos and journalling.

I can see why you rescued them, although I wouldn't know what to do with them either!

I wonder whether they would sew together to make a bag or case for knitting/crochet needles?

Sometimes rescued lovelies need to sit for a while before you know what you really want to do. Have fun deciding!

A shop in my town called paperweight used to sell belts and wallets made out of these tape measures sewn together, so when my work got some coloured ones in, I immediately wanted to make some!
