Old New Borrowed And Blue, Silver Sixpence Card

This card measures 5ins x 5ins and is made using a white linen effect, hand cut card blank.
Old New Borrowed and Blue Silver Sixpence Card
Something tells me that weddings are in the air!
Picture43I’ve had two of these envelope punches for years, one punches out square envelopes and the other oblong ones, and to be honest they are very underused. If I got my finger out I could probably sell punched out mini envelopes on e-bay by the dozen, like I say, if I pulled my finger out!
Picture44
The finished square envelopes measure 1.25ins x 1.25ins and are perfect for this idea, as a pocket for putting a sixpence in on a bride’s wedding card.
Old New Borrowed and Blue Silver Sixpence Card.1I’ve not been over precise and finicky over the spacing and writing as I wanted the card to have a real “homemade” feel ……
Old New Borrowed and Blue Silver Sixpence Card.2….. simple, not over embellished ……

….. and a little bit different.

Found you through John Next Doors Blog and am I glad I popped in.

What a stunning idea for a card.
So fresh and clean any bride would love to receive this. Just a pity I have no sixpences but will have a look on eBay for some.
This would also make a super New Baby Card.
Have a Great Day
