This is a present my brother bought back from his new unit for my mum for Mother’s Day back in March.
Again, we are under no illusions that he had anything to do with it other than sit at the table and watch the staff put it together for him, but it is no less special to us.

The heart is covered with hessian with a strip of lace wound over that, and then lace daisies added in strategic places …….. it’s a treasure that will be kept forever.

I love the gifts your brother gives his family. I might 'pinch' this idea to make with the residents of the care home where I'm the activity coordinator.
