After sooooooooo much nagging from Marc you wouldn’t believe, I have finally decided to sell off some of my unused/surplus crafty bits and pieces via Fiddle Fart from January 1st 2016. It might be a bit hit and miss to start with until I have a system going, so you will have to bear with me ……..
What I think I will do is put up a picture of the item(s) I want to sell, with a description, what I want for it, plus P & P costs. All payments would be via Pay Pal ……. The first person to e-mail me would be “the winner” with 24 hours to pay – and as soon as an item is sold I would delete it from the site …….. all proceeds would then go to my moving fund, to help with all the fees etc. I am certain to accrue!
The best time for me to list & sell would be a Friday, when I can post items on a Sat. Mon & Tuesday – so it may be worth you popping by on Fridays in the New Year.
If any of you have any experience in selling this way I would be grateful of any advise ….

I sold a lot of my craft stuff on Facebook and it worked really well. I always used Paypal, but not the Friends & Family option as you are not covered. Paypal charge 3.4% + 20p per transaction so you need to add that to the price you want to receive ie if you want £5.00 for an item you need to then add on the cost of the post & packaging, and then work out the Paypal fees and add that on. So, £5.00 + 95p postage + 50p packaging = £6.45. Paypal fees on £6.45 is 22p + 20p = £6.87. I then list the item + p&p. So I would advertise the item as £5.42 + £1.45 p&p.
Wish I was in the UK to purchase some of your goodies. The P&P to the U.S. will probably be prohibitive, but I'm going to look them over anyway. You never know...
I've sold a reasonable amount on EBay, only thing to watch is the postal costs as its easy to get it wrong! If you have any dies then I'd be very interested.

I have never sold anything on eBay or Facebook, I have only ever bought and I have always paid by PayPal which is great for us but didn't realise they took a cut off the seller!! Pretty mean!
Looking forward to see what I can win in January!
Big hugs
