Wish Stones

Wish Stones
These are lovely flat stones that I have picked up on holiday, they measure between 1 – 2 ins at their widest.  I am not really sure what to do with them, but I know inspiration will come one day.  I thought they would make quirky place settings for the right sort of occasion or as I have done here, little message stones.

You could paint things on them use rub on transfers, stamp them ,ink them and use embossing powders micro powders glue gems on to them glue them together use E6000 glue it will glue any thing you could add brootch backs, bails, you could try wrapping them in wire
i like the idiea of a wish stone you could put them around a frame make a wind chime add them to your garden net project ,write herb names on them and stick them to lollipop sticks for herb pots ect i am sure you will make the most fab thing with them even varnishing them changes there whole look big inspirational love marc

I had thought about doing something like this as place settings or favours for our wedding next year. We are getting married in Cuba, and I think they would go nice with the beachy theme!

Hi there, thanks for an inspiring blog, love to come on here and mosey around. I noticed you had some lovely stones and being a "I can do something with that" sort of person, I looked around for something to do with some beautiful shiney black stones I found on holiday in Bali.I found a poem on the net from a craft site, I don't have a clue which one, but it's a funny little poem about a prayer rock. I've made quite a few little organza bags, popped the stone inside along with a verse, I'm willing to share the verse if you think you can use it, just let me know. Linda x

I have family members with their last name Stone so they like all kind of ornaments out of stones... maybe you could write on them or put them in the bottom of a vase or use them as paper weights!? x
