I love these little trays, they are the packaging for small wooden embellishments and I have featured projects using them before, and when I had used all I had Sam came to the rescue and sent me a some more, “Thank You” Sam!
All I have done is colour the edges and sides with a black ProMarker pen
When I mess about trying to decide where to put the tiniest and most insignificant of flat back gem I call it Fiddle Farting, hence the name of the blog!!!

Tiny Weenie Shelves of Curiosity
I’ve made another little set of shelves full of tiny bits and pieces.

I think my favourite section is the one with the baking tray.

It’s a packing box for some crafty embellishments long since used up and measures 7ins x 3ins, with each compartment measuring 1.5ins x 1in which I have lined with assorted scraps from my Papermania Portobello Road paper pad.
Filling each section was just heaven to do, going through all my boxes looking for lost treasures, to finally bring them to life.
I can remember where each tiny piece came from and/or who gave me them, so everything is special.I think my favourite section is the one with the baking tray.
Closely followed by the fish bowl and tiny spider.
I found the more I got absorbed in the project, the more detail I wanted to put in, but too much and the whole effect would be spoiled. I now feel like the Duchess of Tiny Weenie Things!

My Little Compendium Of Curiosities
Remember the box that my wooden hearts came in? Well, I couldn’t resist fiddle farting with it …… and had soooooo much fun!
The box measures 4ins x 4ins and each compartment measures 1.25ins x 1.25ins.
I lined each one with a small scrap from my Papermania Portobello Road paper pad and then the excitement of finding tiny treasures to fill them began.
I wanted to make it as 3D as possible, so some of the bits are stuck on several layers of foam pads, like the birdcage, boat and gingerbread man.
I love the sweet jars best, followed by the fish bowl, again on foam pads so it stands proud of the home sweet home sign.
I am not sure if you can buy boxes like this on their own, because if they did I would buy them buy the crate …. as making something like this is my idea of crafting heaven!
If you know where I could get some more, without buying a whole pile of embellishments PLEASE let me know, I have lots more little bits I am desperate to house.

Waste Not, Want Not
Yesterday I made cards using my Kars wooden flower embellishments and all I had left was the little wooden tray they came in ….. so this is what I did with it….
I know the grey’s a bit ugh and the tray’s a bit rough, but this was a five minute job, using up all the scraps of paper from the cards for my own amusement and it’s destined for one of the shelves in my craft room..
Sorry about the wet glue, I’m as impatient as ever!
