A FEW CHANGES .....

A SMORGASBORD OF BLOG POSTS .......!!!!!!!
I still do not have a scheduled bank of crafty blog posts ...... HOWEVER, I had an e-mail from my lovely friend Jan The Fan who suggested that though I still feel that I can't produce a "crafty" post on a daily basis, I might consider adding the odd very short post about perhaps one of my many "objects of desire", charity shop finds, what's in the shops, ideas & inspiration, other blogs that catch my fancy, sayings, and some of my photographs etc. as and when I feel like it ..... and I thought why not? ...... I am still not promising a post every day ..... but if you pass on by you never know what you might find!!

OLD TEMPLATES AND FILES
I am sorry I cannot send out any templates, poems etc. that I may have previously offered before May 2012 ...... my computer decided to die then and I lost all my files and I do not intend to redo or replace them, what's gone is gone!

Patchwork Butterfly Birthday Card

 Patchwork Card
Another simple card using my nine square layout.
Close Up of Butterfly patchwork Card
I’ve  used an assortment of punches to put it all together, including my new Martha Stewart punch.

I’ve  used Bazzill paper for the punchies from a stack from DCWV
Butterfly Patchwork Card
Small flat backed pearls and gems complete the design – sorry about the wet glue, I am always too eager to get things blogged!
Extra Info:- The card blank measures 5.25 x 5.25ins. When I am making the middle panel I glue the scalloped squares on a rough square first and then trim around it by eye on my Dhale cutter so it looks evenly centred.
The scalloped square punch measures approx 2cm x 2cm and is by docrafts Xcut.

wow Helen - this really pops and is stunning - I love the colours you have chosen for the card...you really do need to be discovered - I think you should have a DT spot somewhere or be in a magazine!!! (a craft one just in case you were wondering) LOL!!!

Great card - really pretty! I will have to have a go at that.

Lovely card. What dimensions do you use for the base for the nine squares? I am just being lazy, but you have got it looking perfectly in proportion.
