We’re Going To Miss You Card - Leaving Card

This card is A5 in size and is made by simply scoring then folding a sheet of A4 white linen effect card in half.
I apologise, but I have made a series of five of these leaving cards. with slight variations, so you’ll probably be seeing one a month for a while! I decided that I really need to work my way through the vast pile of adhesive alphabets that  I have……. I can see that if I keep going like this, I will eventually run out of vowels ……… and what do I do then …… when I am left with a whole pile of consonants? I suppose that’s when I need to get really crafty, any suggestions?
Anyway once I had made the various word “plaques” and mat and layered them on various matching papers, I started to arrange them, oh my life, making them fit is something that ALWAYS proves to be a nightmare, no matter how tight I put the letters and mat and layering together,  I still end up trimming something off them!
To bring the design all together I have put into action my rarely used “overkill” technique, by adding punched, layered flowers and foliage, plus flat backed gems and faux stitching with strategically placed groups of three dots using a black fine liner pen.
Very over the top for me, but I think it works in an over the top type way!

Since you're mixing and matching fonts, would it be possible to cut some out with alphabet dies or a cutting machine (e.g., a Silhouette)? I think your card is fabulous. Love the big words on it.

Hi Helen. Love it, it may be "over the top" for you but I agree that it certainly does work. Take care.

Hi. Do I remember you have a Silhouette machine?? You could cut lots of random letters and numbers on there with different fonts too!! Just an idea! Karen x
